I have had a pair of students, Scott Crozier and Major Thomas Jameson (US Army), complete Master's theses.  Scott looked at dunes in the interior of the U.P. and Tom examined dune soils in the thumb area of Michigan. Currently, I have a another pair of students, Cathy Dowd and Xiomara Cordoba, who are working with me and are pictured below.  Xio (to the left) is a Master's student working on the history of dune formation at Petoskey State Park in northwestern lower Michigan.  Cathy is a Ph.D. student who is interested in post-settlement alluviation and stream changes, potentially along the Pere Marquette river.
