Murdick J. McLeod is the Agronomy Research Manager in the Agronomy Science Department at Pioneer Hi-Bred International. His specialty is integrated pest management of insect pests of agricultural crops. His professional experience includes pest management strategies, such as transgenic crops conferring resistance to the European corn borer. He has extensive experience in agricultural test plot research, experimental design and implementation, data analysis and interpretation, and presentation of results to agricultural clientele. Dr. McLeod received his doctorate in Entomology at Ohio State University in 1990, he earned his masters in 1986 from North Dakota State University, and did his undergraduate work at Concordia College. As an Associate Professor at South Dakota State University, he managed the entire Extension Entomology program for the state of South Dakota. He was also an Extension Associate at Cornell University.
