(Course preview)Welcome to GEO 204-V - the virtual version of World Regional Geography! World Regional Geography is a course whose relevance is on the upswing. In this era of increased globalization it is imperative to have a population that is globally conscientious since it is no longer realistic to declare that one need not care about the rest of the world. In addition to the implications of 9/11, even small corporations based in Michigan need personnel that are cognizant of places other than their own due to complex globalized webs and supply chains. MSU’s commitment to international engagement has recently been reemphasized, reiterating the University’s mission statement.
This course is designed to provide you with a survey of global and regional interactions among people, their geographic location and utilization of space, and the physical environment.
At this time, please visit and read through the Help-Setup Page, so that your computer is properly configured for rest of the course.
