Once last thing before getting started...it's important that you read both the course syllabus and schedule. These pages contain information concerning how the class operates, who to contact with questions, and a time table for what is expected of you (lessons, animation units, writing assignments, exams, etc.). Do not hesitate to contact your instructor via email with any questions.
