  Registering for VG courses

How can I enroll for a Virtual Geography (VG) course?
There are different ways to enroll in VG courses, depending on the type of student you are.

(1) Current, degree-seeking students at MSU can enroll for VG courses as they would any other course at State, via the school's online enrollment system (IBMGate).

(2) Anyone else wishing to take a VG course without pursuing a degree at MSU can register for a VG course via Lifelong Education Enrollment. This simply means that you would like to take a course at MSU with seeking a degree. It is also possible to take VG courses for 'no credit' or as a 'visitor' - please contact the Office of the Registrar to designate such as choice once you have enrolled in the course.

When are VG courses offered?
All Virtual Geography courses are offered only during the Summer Sessions; they are not offered during the Fall or Spring Sessions. Typically, at least one section of each course is offered during the 1st and 2nd Summer Sessions. See the Schedule of Courses for more details.

For answers to additional enrollment questions, please contact the Office of the Registrar.
